On the idea that take advantage of the rich marine resources,
from Kesennuma Port, one of the leading port towns in Japan.

Approximately 40% of the material
is made from swordfish horns, which is
effective use of discarded swordfish horns,
the denim developed from yarn.

We studied the fiber contained in swordfish bills, a body part which has been regarded as useless and thrown away.
After much painstaking research, we have created Swordfish Denim.
It has been discovered that calcium phosphate contained in the fiber of swordfish is gentle on skin and thus reduces the stress caused by wearing denim.
We use Pergamon sleek organic cotton for the pockets. And instead of copper rivets and metal buttons, Swordfish Denim uses cotton bartacks and real nut buttons made of natural materials for these important parts.
As a part of our business, we are working on developing environmentally friendly, durable denim products that can eventually return to to the earth.
